- Salary: €65,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a team of staff to ensure the highest standard of care for residents.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, manage staff recruitment and training, and maintain performance standards.
- Develop individualized care plans focused on independence and growth, continually assessing and adapting them to meet residents’ needs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations through regular audits and proactive management.
- Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders to create a supportive, inclusive environment for residents.
Qualifications:
- Essential: Degree in Social Work, Disability Studies, Nursing, or a related field.
- Experience Requirement: Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism, ideally in a residential or respite setting.
- Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of disability services regulations and best practices.
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively.
Desirable:
- Experience working with children.
- Postgraduate qualification in Disability Studies, Management, or a related field.
- Experience in staff supervision and training.
- Knowledge of interventions and techniques for supporting individuals with complex needs.
